Summary of role:
This role reports to the Portfolio Administration Manager to support the team in their daily tasks. The Portfolio Administrator Associate is also required to ensure that accurate portfolio details are reflected on company's internal accounting systems.
Role Responsibilities:
•Ensuring all daily cash and security reconciliations are accurately completed
•Daily liaison with both local and global brokers and custodians
•Providing Portfolio Managers with daily cash reporting
•Ensuring trades are settled in a timely manner
•Monthly portfolio NAV and preliminary performance calculations
•Ad hoc fund requests for Client Services and Compliance
•Liaising with global business offices for resolution of outstanding issues
•Completing client specific reporting requirements
•General understanding of global investment risk
Position Requirements:
•Graduate level or above in Accounting, Finance or Business stream
•Minimum 12 months Portfolio Administration experience from either an Investment Manager or Global Custodian
•Knowledge of investment accounting and NAV calculation
•Demonstrate ability to meet Service Level Expectations
•High level of Attention to Detail
Skills / knowledge:
•Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
•Good understanding of Financial Services Industry
•Strong PC skills. Intermediate to Advance Excel skills required
